The Cornelsen Robotik App is a visual programming editor specifically designed for programming eXperiBot learning robots from Cornelsen Experimenta and for use in the classroom. The intuitive drag-and-drop function can be used to teach basic programming concepts such as loops, variables, conditions and more. With the help of the various programming blocks, children as young as 10 can gain their first experience of programming. The option of displaying the code in the Python programming language also makes the Cornelsen Robotik App ideal for use in secondary schools. The simple language selection makes interdisciplinary teaching possible - for example, programming can also be done in English and many other languages. The individual learning units transfer abstract topics of STEM lessons into everyday life and increase the learning success of the pupils through their practical relevance. Creative problem solving is encouraged and at the same time the use of modern technologies is trained.

The eXperiBot learning robot, which was specially developed for use in the classroom, focuses on coding, not on building the robot. In just 70 seconds, all 10 parts are assembled and the eXperiBot is ready for programming. In addition to the various learning robot sets, a "Smart Factory" and a "Maze" are available as comprehensive complete solutions. Each eXperiBot robot set comes with a detailed teachers guide including worksheets, which makes lesson preparation and implementation much easier for teachers. Together with the Cornelsen Robotik App, practice-oriented learning with curriculum reference becomes possible. The eXperiBot learning robot impresses with its simplicity, step-by-step logic and reduction to the essentials. Arianna, a programmer in the accompanying comic, is always on hand to give the pupils advice and tips. So really everyone can learn programming. All materials related to the eXperiBot are eligible for funding through the "Digitalpakt".

The Cornelsen Robotik App and the eXperiBot learning robot from Cornelsen Experimenta inspire pupils from 5th to 12th grade to get involved in coding and help them acquire 21st century digital skills. Coding is less about writing lines of programming and more about understanding the digital world. To be able to do this requires the ability to understand programming concepts. This means identifying problems and breaking down their solutions into individual small sub-steps, developing strategies, thinking abstractly and creatively.
